Hudson ISD Parents and Staff Members,

Good morning. I hope all of you are staying warm on this bitterly cold morning. As you are aware, I will be retiring soon and the Hudson ISD Board of Trustees has begun the search for a new superintendent of schools. The board hired the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) to assist with the search process. 
TASB is conducting a confidential survey to gather valued input from parents and staff members. Survey results will be collectively reported to the board by the TASB Executive Search Team. 
​Regarding the current timeline, the position of Superintendent of Schools is now open and ​applications are due by midnight on Friday, March 7. The interview process will take place ​during the month of March and the beginning of April. The board will tentatively name a 'lone finalist' in April and then await a required 21-day wait period prior to hiring the new leader in May, with a start date to be determined at that time.
Again, your voice is important, so please complete the survey in a timely fashion.
